Thesis 1996 (Blu-Ray)

Looks like Thesis is finally getting a Blu-ray from Corlotta Films in France. June 25th

I recently bought the R1 "remaster" DVD, which looks pretty good. I hadn't seen the film in years, and it still holds up well.

Interesting that it's coming to BD, but unless it offers optional English subtitles...

Which disc do you have, Tanelorn Films? I Have the Vanguard release and I think it looks washed out and terrible. I also have the Sogepaq Special Edition 2 disc from Spain which is much better but still so much room for improvement.

Yes, I have the later Tanelorn DVD.

The 16x9 transfer looks quite good, and there's no PAL speedup. See these comparisons: http://www.dvdbeaver.com/film/dvdcompare/tesis.htm

^^ They call the Tanelorn DVD "Bayview" in the above though, for some reason...
