Region Free Blu-Ray Player Won't Play Any Blues

I ordered a Toshiba BDX 1250KU region free blu-ray player from 220-electronics and suddenly, tonight, it won't play any of my blues. A message keeps coming telling me the region code and the player's code don't match, but these are US DVDs, and it's supposed to automatically play any US blue. Only overseas blues needs the region code changed.

I looked on 220's site and can no longer find the player they sold me.

I'm a little confused... it won't play any of your Blu-rays, or US DVD's?

It almost sounds like the player is locked for Region 2/Region B DVD/Blu playback or something, and that's why it won't play Region 1/Region A DVD/Blus.

Disregard this post. It was the region code. I've been playing overseas DVD for so long, and it's been on region B, so for some reason, I kept thinking it automatically plays US blues. Anyhow, I switched it to region A and everything is fine. It wouldn't switch before to A and for some reason I just kept thinking it had always been on B. Everything's fine now, though,

Oh, My God, I chucked out THE RELIC blu I just got thinking it was the disc!! Oh, God what have I done?!

Lol. I always get that initial shock when I put a BD in and I get a warning in another language. Then I remember it's time to change the region code.

Yes, this was simply a case of me forgetting how it works. What threw me also was that even though it was on Region B my PUPPET MASTER movie and DR. WHO, SERIES 7, PART 1 still played.

Anyhow, all is well with the player.

It's the US one, which is why I found it strange.
