Silent Night, Deadly Night (1984) 35mm Screening in Kentucky (Dec. 14)
Yes!!! The guys from DeadPit Radio have done it again...
On December 14th, they're hosting a rare 35mm print screening of SILENT NIGHT, DEADLY NIGHT! ![]() ![]() I'm THERE!

the remake comes out on dvd and blu-ray dec 4th as well as the long OOP SNDN 1 and 2 double feature dvd from anchor bay. but i am still scratching my head why no blu-ray of the original?

I used to own this on 35mm but sold the print off to somewhere in Texas last year. Had the pleasure of screening it in both 2009 and 2010 (double-feature with Black Christmas that year, also on 35mm). Great Christmas slasher to see on the big screen with a rowdy packed audience.

Where did you read that Anchor Bay is re-releasing parts 1 and 2 on DVD again? I would love to get ahold of part 2 without paying the insane out of print prices. The movie is so bad, I can't help but be entertained by it, but I can't find any official information that Anchor Bay is re-issuing it.

I wish we were getting the original on blu-ray, but I'll bite. Never got a chance to grab the original double feature before it went out of print.

This is a great little movie.I got to see it in 35mm The print was worn and wasnt the composite print but it was great to see the film none the less.It would be great to see it on blu.

also notice the rerelease of SNDN 1/2 it says 2 discs so i guess it isnt a flipper disc anymore
