No way for me. The writer commentary sounds great and so do the 4 new featurettes. Can't wait to get this in the mail from Amazon!

definitely getting From Beyond scream factory blu-ray!! but for some reason maybe it is just because the first film isnt out on blu-ray. i am not too excited for Phantasm II and this is coming from someone who rushed out and bought the dvd that universal finally put out a few years back as well as the 2 disc bootleg from fleshwound video!!!

I actually sold my MGM DVD on Amazon marketplace for $20 a couple weeks ago. After Amazon's commission, I think I got about $16 for it. It looks like the prices have since dropped to $13 though.

I pre-ordered the Scream Factory blu-ray in my GoldBox for $18.99, then used a $5 giftcard from an online promotion to bring it down to $13.99. So my upgrade was free, and I couldn't be more excited about it!

Looking forward to both of 'em. I was used to watching crappy VHS for both of these movies growing up and so this will be a huge upgrade.

For the first time ever, the "And more" at the end of the extras list on the back cover of Phantasm II actually means something: there really is more content beyond what's printed. Usually, "and more" just means there's a trailer or some other minor thing and that's it. PQ is top-notch for what it is. I never expect 25-year-old low-budget B movies to look like Pixar films anyway. Now, let's work to get I, III and IV released.

I'm quite looking forward to revisiting Phantasm II. It's been around 10 years since I last saw it. At the time I did not like it very much but I'm going to approach it with an open mind.

Glad to see positive reviews for these!

Still going nuts for a Phantasm Blu, though. That's one of my must-haves.
