RIP Danny Steinmann
Quote:
RIP, sir. The Unseen and Savage Streets are great, and A New Beginning is the most underappreciated film of the Friday the 13th franchise.

Sad News. Danny Steinmann was one of my Favorite Directors, those 3 Films are among my all time Favorites too!! Friday Part 5 is an unsung Slasher Classic!! One of my Favorite Friday Films of all time and some of the most brutal and creative Death Scenes in the Series!! Savage Streets is an 80's Sleaze Classic, and The Unseen is an overlooked Horror Gem! RIP Danny. You will be missed but you will forever live on through your Films!!

The newest episode of Deadpit has a nice tribute to Danny Steinmann during a call-in portion. Sean Clark, who represented Danny at conventions, and Michael Felsher, who interviewed him on the commentaries for Savage Streets & Friday V, both recall their time working with Danny. You can see the link for this episode in the upper left hand corner at the main page of www.deadpit.com
