So uhhhh...was the Savage Water DVD really canceled? I just received a shipping confirmation on two of the four places I preordered this from.

I've made this my mission to find it, much like the original God's Bloody Acre code red disc

Yes, it was. And only a handful, other than the review screeners that were sent before the issue came up, managed to get sent out from a retailer or two before the recall notice so it's highly unlikely you'll get it if you pre-ordered it unless it's already shipped. Read post #21 in this thread for the full details straight from Vinegar Syndrome.

However, they will be re-issuing Savage Water on the upcoming double-feature disc with Pat Boyette's Dungeon of Harrow. Death By Invitation will also be paired up with another future release, but that title is yet to be decided.

But out of this temporary bad news is some even beter news in that Savage Water will now be transferred from the camera negative whereas the print that was used on the recalled disc was just from a release print, and we'll likely see future works from Paul Kener released through the label now that they are in contact with him.

Well I have a shipping conformation and a tracking number.....something is getting shipped to me. If I wasn't on my phone I'd take a screen grab of the emails.

Good news on the reissue though.

Damn.....I didn't order from either of those places. Maybe I'll order and see what happens.....

Although all these temporary charges for the same movie are starting to add up lol.

If any of you get any extra copies shipped to you and want to help out a fellow horror fan let me know....I'll pay obviously.

If not I guess I can wait for the reissues like a normal human being...but I'd rather not lol

I also did Family Video and Buy.com, but no word from either of them. Deep Discount says "backordered".

Of course....I'm gonna cancel my Deep Discount and Amazon pre-orders....I dont want to get stuck with 5 copies of this...especially if a reissue is coming.

I'll keep the Family Video order and see if they come through and sell that to anyone else who wants a copy that didn't get one.

This was just listed, they're usually quick with shipping and won't list something they don't have in stock so hurry up =)

Yes they do. First time I ordered Gator Bait from them they made me wait two weeks after I was charged to tell me they didn't have it in stock...

I got shipping and tracking confirmation from Buy.com. Looks like quite a few prints were made and I don't see Vinegar just shoving them in a closet to rot
