New Evil Dead 2 Blu-ray 04/15/13
I was getting nervous that we'd go a full 12 months without a new version of the Evil Dead films.

Jeeeez... Again?!?
They can re-release this movie a billion times with new extras, but from now on I´m done with this movie, the last Lionsgate BD was perfect enough for me. The only thing that would have me rebuy this one, is if they reinstated some gore. I´m not too fond about Evil Dead 2 these days, seen it too many times the last 25 years. And I think I have outgrown the silliness, as I much prefer the superiour original. I wish they would use the money they put on all these re-releases on something previously unreleased instead.

I wonder if this will be straight across or if the discs will differ in anyway?

No, These (new) featurettes are on the US 25th anniversary.
It's just a direct port of the LG disc for the UK. |

Yeah I'm looking at my disc now. I don't see "Swallowed souls: The Making of Evil Dead II."

Here's the Amazon.uk link. According to the Amazon page, it's Region B. I just checked my disc and it contains all of the same features.

Just watched the new 25th anniversary edition Blu Ray, and can honestly say WOW!! What a huge improvement over the AB Blu. For anyone on the fence about re-buying this blu, you should not hesitate! I noticed much more detail, and amazingly enough, realized Sam Raimi had a cameo!! haha I've been watching this movie since the 80's and somehow never noticed that!!
