Actress Karen Black battling cancer
Just an FYI: sad news that actress Karen Black is battling cancer and seeking funds to help get treatment in Europe. For whatever reason she doesn't like being labeled a "horror movie" actress but she's been in a number of my favorite scary movies going back to my childhood. Her resume outside the horror genre is equally impressive. I hope she has success with her treatment.

Yes I read about this on Facebook. At the time it was around $19,000 but by the end of the day here it's already over $24,000. Good to see so many people lend a hand and I wish her the best.

That explains why she wasn't at HorrorHound, and it sucks. Definitely hope she gets better.
