That same poster art for FRIGHTMARE was used for one of Amicus's horror anthology films,I think FROM BEYOND THE GRAVE.

Wow 'Pieces' played at the Eric Twin Frazer. I managed that theater for a while till they closed in the 90's.

Can you imagine a packed theater on a friday night seeing Pieces.......
Number one at the box office this week is the new horror movie pieces.. raked in over 30 million in its first weekend.. ha ha ha Funny thing is, pieces was shot in 81 in spain and looked really dated even by late 1983..

funny how the same poster for frightmare is that beyond the grave one with some extra touchs.. theres another poster for frightmare aka horror star,

that fits more with the plot of the movie..

I saw PIECES last year in a pretty packed theater double billed with Argento's DEEP RED.The crowd ate it up,lots of fun !
