We should be getting some reviews soon,, hopefully Blu-ray.com and dvd talk is pretty slow at getting reviews. but they are the one site I go by as far as picture quality goes...

Me neither, but highly doubt I'll be upgrading/double-dipping anyway.

At least I'm not alone who don't like that new cover, judging from Facebook it felt like I was. Anyway for this one that will depend on the extras if I double dip or not.

wow, dvd talk only gave the pic quality 3 and a half stars. Cant wait to see what Blu-ray .com is gonna give it.. Whatever dvd talk rates it, Blu-ray.com will rate it lower. Remember they are the ones who gave a bad pic quality for Halloween III, and yet H3 had an awesome transfer..

3 1/2 stars out of 5 isnt bad though - that is still a solid rating

damn 2 more weeks but I noticed my hastings store already has it in the back but it is street dated the 14th of may there because they got the burning, crimewave and town that dreaded sundown on hold for me but for some reason the burning says may 14th??? while crimewave is the 14th also and town has the 21st of may which is correct!

That's some pretty skewed logic. I generally don't agree with bluray.com's ratings but bluray.com didn't give Halloween III a BAD rating. I thought the transfer looked good, but it wasn't amazing. 3/5 isn't BAD.
