COLD EYES OF FEAR (1971) & THE SINFUL NUNS OF ST. VALENTINE (1974) Redemption 5/21

A pair of '70s Eurotrash thrillers from Redemption in May (which were actually among the first four films Redemption released in the US on VHS and LD back in the '90s).

Enzo Castellari's COLD EYES OF FEAR (1971) is a strange effort for the director, who usually found himself doing action flicks like THE INGLORIOUS BASTARDS, STREET LAW and 1990 THE BRONX WARRIORS. This one is usually categorized as a giallo, but I remember it being more a home invasion / DESPERATE HOURS riff.

THE SINFUL NUNS OF ST. VALENTINE (1974) is a nunsploitation outing by the director of MAD DOG, Sergio Grieco. I honestly haven't watched it since the late '90s, and remember very little other than it wasn't as sleazy as I expected, and there's an elongated nun freak-out scene at the end. I think they may all have had a plague or a fever or something?
