Was Final Exam ever on cable in early 80's??

It would have debuted around June of 82. never seen it listing. but i also didnt have cable back then either.. I do know when i got cinemax in spring/summer of 95 it showed on a friday going into saturday morning at 5 am.. Just wondering if movie channel or any other stations shown in either 82 or 83..

Showtime in summer 1982 - I used to have the old guide, too (the pic inside was of Lisa cozy-ing up to her Professor) but it got lost in one of my moves. I do remember there being no more than 4 or 5 showings? (if I recall - I only caught it once and I love that movie)

wow, so it did actually show.. showtime cool.. odd picture to use for a horror movie though in a cable guide. but they did that sometimes..

Even odder: Showtime stuck both FINAL EXAM and THE FUNHOUSE in their "Showtime After-Hours" timeslots so they never showed them before 10:00 at night. Yet - they showed HELL NIGHT at Noon one day in 1982 (!!!) and yes, I cut school to watch it

wow, and final exam wasnt even that gory or a tad of nudity.. But i will do some research next time iam at the library and try to find the listing for it in summer of 82..
I first saw Happy birthday to me on a channel called Spotlight.. Also on showtime in the summe rof 82 i saw funhouse and galaxy of terror..
