Okay, all you Fulci-Fans are chomping at the bit...but is the movie any good? I mean, I sometimes buy my favorite directors just to keep my library up to date. Same case here? I'm trying to gauge how excited I should be....

(also has a link to the review of the recent German release) Not the best Fulci movie but it's officially regarded as a Giallo so I might pick it up .

I have this movie - those crazy Germans put it out.
What's it like? Hmmmmm.... lots of 80's disco.... lots of 80's dancing (it's about a dance troupe), and a couple nasty murders. I wasn't blown away by it, but we Fulci fans know that the closer you got to the end of his career, the worse things went. This one is far enough from those attrocities to make it worthy. It won't blow your mind, but it's no doubt fun. |

This is considered his worst film.

![]() Anyhow, I'll definitely give this a rent as I love Fulci, even during his "bad" period. I thought Touch of Death was great.

. Seriously though, a goreless Giallo is still a Giallo. And it has Keith Emerson (though the soundtrack is as cheesy as the movie,so I've heard).I'm a fan of Emerson's work though and I'll probably even like it .

Oh wow, he made far worse, imo. House of Clocks, Demonia, Sweet house of Horrors, Touch of Death...... I like Fulci, and enjoy even his bad ones, but I reckon Murderrock is better than those lised. As for the dancing - it's pure cheese baby, if you're into cheese, this one is rich! |

I've yet to see the film, but I've long been a fan of the soundtrack. The theme song is without a doubt one of the most potent slices of cheese ever cut in the Euro-synth scene. Amazing.
I'm excited for this release though...I had been contemplating importing that R2 DVD, but I trust Shriek Show will deliver the goods here in R1.

Oh don't get me wrong, I will still buy it, not rent, buy, since I am an ass and a Fulci fan, plus I liked Touch of Death
