Hot Patootie, Bless My Soul, Fox is Remaking ‘Rocky Horror Picture Show’
Fox is preparing to do the “Time Warp,” with a two-hour television revival of “The Rocky Horror Picture Show.”

Deadline reports the cast-contingent special, tentatively titled “The Rocky Horror Picture Show Event,” will be executive produced by Gail Berman (“Buffy the Vampire Slayer”), the original film’s producer Lou Adler, and Kenny Ortega (“High School Musical 2,” “Hocus Pocus”), who’ll direct.

Nope, nope, nope. I'm NOT gonna freak out and overreact. I just gonna remain calm and completely ignore this whole thing just like all the other remakes and reboots of which I did not approve.

NOOOOOOOOOOOO. I think I will pass on this remake.
Why have you disturbed our sleep? Awaken us from our ancient slumber? You will die! Like the others before you. One by one we will take you.

I know a good hangover remedy, a greasy pork sandwich served in a dirty ashtray.

RIP: John Winchester, all us Supernatural fans will miss you.

I love Jared's flaring nostrils

I'm actually not completely against this. Considering the film's roots as a play and that the play has been performed numerous times both before and after the '75 film, including one version with Buffy star Anthony Head, this really doesn't seem sacrilege any more. Hell, even Glee did a version of it. And that it's for TV, probably keeping the two act format and adding some of the cut/reworked numbers, I think it could be an interesting adaptation.

To a degree I'm not against another film, as Anaestheus has said it was a play for several years before the movie and regularly performed there after.

However a TV version is just going to plain suck and will in all likelihood only tarnish its anti-establishment reputation and ultimately become a forgotten footnote in its legacy.
The combined weight of the horrors I have authored wrought would crush your carbon hearts into perfect diamonds of terror!

A Few Ants Short. And what the hell, check out my DVD Collection won't you?
