Greats news I guess. Odd they would put an UK 18 sticker on the cover art?

Hmm, the coverart does look suspicious, with a "18" rating sticker on a Region A release?

I would also think if the release date is 5/2, it would be up to pre-order at least. Some of these listings on Blu-ray.com are often bogus...

If itīs real, then itīs obviously just a temp art, and itīs not the first time they use that on blu-ray.com before they get the official artwork. Kinda doubt that MGM is releasing this though, as the news about the release would have been more widespread, instead of just sneaking up on us like this, so either it has been licensed to some smaller label, or itīs all just fake.

That cover art is the old VHS release and the 18 certificate is also an out of date logo. The one the BBFC use now is different. MGM are obviously still in the process of designing the cover art

Why would someone go through the trouble of picking a random movie and creating fake artwork for it and posting it on a big forum? First, MGM is apparently now out of the B-movie-on-Blu-ray business since they haven't released diddly squat since Texas Chainsaw 2 and a couple of others. Second, is anyone really clamoring for After Midnight on Blu? I can think of a million other MGM movies worth releasing before this one.

When I first watched this over 24 years ago i thought it was pretty cool - at the time I loved these Creepshow/Nightmares type shows.

It's been done before more than a few times there, and that's a fact. Why anyone would do it...who the hell knows.

Ravenous has had one of those place holders for a couple years now. So has True Lies and The Abyss. I'm kinda happy to see the lower tier flicks get some love too. Plus that cover is way better than the crap that's on the dvd. I also grabbed this blind at Big Lots in '10 and really dig it. Just don't see a Blu happening anytime soon if ever.
