No...

The DVD is $29.95 which includes shipping in the price.

The Blu-ray is $34.95 which includes shipping in the price.

Wow, including shipping to Sweden = $45!!

Havenīt seen this one, and I donīt know if I dare to blindbuy it for that price.

Edit:
I just downloaded an VHS rip and watched it.
Glad I didnīt spend 45 bucks on it. It was kinda fun, but probably not something that I would re-watch, as it mostly was the wrong side of cheese for my taste.
Kevin Dillon was great as always though.

The scary part of the movie was the over the top 80:s fashion, taken to the extreme. Thatīs ONE thing I donīt miss about the 80:s, as some of it went totally mental at the second part of the decade, and also bled into the early 90:s as well

Jeff Lieberman gave me some bad news when I suggested he take REMOTE CONTROL to a distributor for a wide release: "...I don't want any distributors involved nor any wide release. This is strictly for fans of my films or fans of the movie itself. After this, no more, but at least it now if finally lives on in the digital realm."

No, not the fan excuse gain. That is simply a way for him to make full revenue.

With a distributor involved, the fans will always be the same, and the release can get to all the fans, not only those who are able to spend $34.95.

Quality should be good. It was scanned by the same folks who worked on the Lost Films of Herschell Gordon Lewis and Misty Beethoven.

He is trying to fund a new project of his, so more power to him. In the end, it is his film to distribute any way he wants.

I just listened to an interview J.L. gave a few days ago. He said he will be bringing copies to Cinema Wasteland. I guess thats assuming word doesnt get out and they dont sell out by then.

I bought the VHS last year. Sounds like a good time to load it up.

Thanks! Didn't realize Process Blue had a hand in it. Wonder what the source was? Hopefully he had pre-print materials and not just a theatrical 35mm.

I interviewed Jeff years back for Ultra Violent -- I'll see if I can post the sections about REMOTE CONTROL when I get home.

this and the Blob remake made me a Kevin Dillon fan for years but he disappeared for a long time until that sci fi vampire movie came about.
