Friendly reminder if you use Amazon, use our links to help support the site!

I know the site isn't too active on the main page for the past few years outside of October. Even so, you guys have been great using our affiliate link to help support the site. I'm posting this friendly reminder because activity through the affiliate link has really died down over the past few months. There is typically a lull around the summer; it happened last year, too. But please try to use it when/if you use Amazon. I really need the help paying the hosting costs. Any of the Amazon ads on this site will bring you to our affiliate link and help support the site.

Thanks!

But, psst, there's an "Amazon.com sucks" thread just 4 rows down. And it's long

Yeah, I'd love to, but I boycotted Amazon once they starting making certain items "available to Prime members only". Fuck that and fuck them.

Ugh yeah I rarely use Amazon anymore because they suck balls and only cater to their prime members. I mainly use Deepdiscount and get 3.0% back from Ebates and they have been really generous with their 15% coupons lately. Amazon has really gone down hill and is losing customers fast, They got too big and greedy kind of like the government

I'm strictly using Diabolik and blowitoutahere. Those two are pretty much all I need for my online movie ordering. Not only do I get my shit fast and undamaged, here's the best part, they don't tell me I'm "not allowed" to buy certain things. I can buy whatever I want!

Question... does anyone know if the affiliate links work through purchases made at smile.amazon.com ?

Thanks for the reminder. Sounds like I'm in the minority but I'm still a big Amazon fan.

I always access the site through the main page to see what forum threads are active. Is that not how most people use the site?

(P.S. I just got an amazon gift card for my birthday so I'll place my orders using the links here.)

I use Amazon quite a bit and I always make sure I click the link on this site to bring up Amazon. I personally love Amazon but I am a prime member as well.

The sentiment is nice, but it only counts when you actually BUY stuff from Amazon. The gift card is already bought and paid for.

I did forget with my last order (does it work when buying from a marketplace seller, or just from Amazon?) but usually use the link if ordering from them. I still like em, mostly cuz I can just use my Discover cashback rewards as cash there.

I also suspect my last order will fail anyway. Placed 4 days ago, no word yet, OOP title...
Fucking BD resellers are giving me Vicodin dealer flashbacks. They can't count, they lie and say they have shit they don't, and they often have some BS story that doesn't line up with yesterdays story! I quit drugs for this fucking reason, now I might have to quit movies too cuz of these fucking asshats!

This thread isn't for the people that hate Amazon, obviously. It's for the people that use it. The other thread certainly addresses the pros and cons to Amazon.

Thanks.

I'll try to remember to use it. I just unblocked this site from adblock, so I can see the banner ad now, which should help.
