What did you think of the Phantasm V teaser?

It's been awhile since we've had a sequel to an old franchise pop up, but Don Coscarelli gave everyone a nice Christmas surprise with the new PHANTASM RAVAGER teaser here. Naughty or nice, what did you think?

I could've done without Coscarelli and the new Director trying to act (lol) but the new teaser got my juices flowing despite the itty bit of footage, some of which will probably not even make it to the final film. But I love the overall feel of the film, and the closure it will likely have, having it set partly on the tall man's planet. And I liked the early title better: Phantasm's End. I'm just ecstatic there's going to be a 5th film.

The fact that it's a new director makes it feel forced. I just hope it lives up to OblIVion.

That was so awful. The original teaser they released was great. Just give us a regular trailer and then the movie.

How could anybody think that this feels forced? They've been working on this project and successfully kept it below the radar for several years! And they're still not even finished with it yet!

I love the Roger Corman feel of the footage when the Giant Sphere has been inserted into stock footage of a building being demolished
Notice the charges going off in the middle and bottom of the building, even though the laser is hitting from the top part

Canīt wait! And I hope we finally get a true ending, and not another cliffhanger...unless they also have shot Phantasm VI back to back

I didn't even know there was going to be a new Phantasm. I should pay more attention at the forum
