I can't say I really recommend the first one, never seen the second. It is mainly of interest to me as a curiosity piece, nothing more. It is quite sickening, and had me close to gagging a couple of times, but other than that I found the film to be quite mediocre and only worth one viewing. The DVD on the other hand is superb.

I've seen both and I think the second is definitely slower paced, but ultimately more shocking than the first. I must admit that it is quite hard to recommend either film to anyone.

Yes, check these out. The second one is great, although it is indeed slow. Hell, the first one is slow too. Definitely check them out. They are interesting movies with interesting endings.

I liked the both alot but the second one is a better made movie and overall I like it better. Part one is the nastier one of the two.

I found the ending of the second to completely out-do the first in the shock department.

Oh the effects were better in part 2 and that makes the ending more shocking but in part 1 in addition to corpse fucking you got stuff like
Spoiler:
the eyeball slurping scene and bloody ejaculate
plus there was just more butchery in part 1. Just my opinion of course.

Yeah, I too like the first one a fair bit more than the second. However, both have great moments. What I'd really recommend is SCHRAMM, which I loved (moreso than these two) and would highly recommend. I can't wait to check out DER TODESKING...

I love SCHRAMM...a nail to the penis is never good. I have both Nekro's and prefer....both.

Nekro 2 is the better made movie, slow at times but still decent. Nekro is still my favorite of the 2. I'd recommend the first on more so than Schramm or Nekro 2.

I totally agree with you Chris!

I would recommend seeing them in this order: NEKROMANTIK, SCHRAMM and NEKROMANTIK 2.

That is the order I like them in too, but it should be said they are all VERY close.
