I wonder if the director here met Carl on the set of Predator less than a year prior? He also directed another favorite action flick of mine - I Come In Piece!

Craig R. Baxley also directed STONE COLD which is one of my favorites.

Really surprised a number of the directors movies didn't have sequels, they were pretty successful on VHS and cable.
