Wow. After the Broderick film, I didn't think I'd ever be excited for a US Godzilla movie. But hey, that was rad.

*edit* seems to follow all the current trends in visuals. I'll wait for the reviews found here next year.

Pretty good I guess...basically the same footage we saw in the other teaser.

Trailers don't mean jack to me anymore. I remember seeing the one for "Prometheus" and thinking it's gonna be the best movie ever.

Haha...very true. But at the very least you can look at this trailer and instantly know this will crush the '98 version in every way shape and form...frankly that's all the assurance I need for right now.

I wish there was a clearer shot of Godzilla so I could make a judgement on the CGI...his silhouette looks good though.

They appear to use a tripod in more than half of the shots. That's a good sign, but I don't wanna jinx it.

Not a big Godzilla fan, but that looks promising.

The trailer for the 98 version made it look like the best movie ever too. I want to be hyped, but still feel the pain of being fucked in 98. Have to admit, I couldn't stop grinning watching this one though, so much promise.

At least Toho has more involvement with this one than they did in the 98 movie.

Looks good. I actually enjoyed the effects in the 98 version I rremember buying the laserdisc. The characters were annoying but Godzilla rocked. I'm sad that it took 15 years to get another one.

P.S. Am I the only one that liked Prometheus?
