Well, this will be the best release no doubt about it.

As long as they don't bungle something on it. I have it on pre-order, so hopefully not...but we are talking about Arrow here.

Very satisfied with the Scream Factory! edition, the image looks stellar on my big screen.

The recent record of Arrow releases is excellent... unlike some of their past releases, so Im extremely confident in Lifeforce.

I ordered the steelbook but really dig the regular Amaray artwork. Not buying both as I already have the Shout Factory release.

Sounds as though the UK version is technically superior to the scream factory release, glad I waited

GodDAMNIT. I really don't want to buy another player to go Region-free like I did with DVD...but it's really starting to annoy me. Fuckity-fuck-fuck.

I didn't want to either, but I recommend it highly. The Masters of Cinema U.K. blu-ray releases alone are worth the purchase.

Fuck it. I just went over to Bombay Electronics and ordered the Orei BDP-M2 Multi Region Code Free DVD 3D Blu-ray disc Player. I won't be going 3D anytime soon (unless I find some money) but I know it will happen eventually.

That's the player I own. Congratulations. It has been a great player for me for over a year now. Bombay is a good company out of Chicago. You do have to switch bd regions (like all bd players) manually, but it's easy.

Here's detailed screen comparisons between the Shout & Arrow Blu-rays...and also the old DVD and Italian Blu-ray: http://caps-a-holic.com/hd_vergleich...hd_multiID=254

The Arrow Blu-ray seems to have stronger (more accurate?) colors and a higher bitrate. Mine should arrive from Amazon UK any day now!
