It's Warner Brothers, so I wouldn't elevate my upgrade expectations too much.

Yeah, they'll probably just throw a two minute interview on the disc, slap a 30th anniversary edition banner on the cover and call it a day. If you already own it, I wouldn't worry about missing out on anything new.

Warner are douchebags. I'm sure it'll be the same exact transfer and encode, new artwork, and an 8-minute Featurette called "Gizmo is Cute!"

Apparently they're doing interviews with Joe Dante, Zach Galligan and some others.

I'd been waiting for a cheap Gremlins / Gremlins 2 Blu-ray to appear, but now I'll wait and see what comes of this.

My boycott of anything Warner Bros. still stands until they release a complete and remastered version of The Devils (1971) or, at the very least, give the rights to someone else. I understand Criterion has tried to get a hold of it in the past...

Oh and their 40th anniversary blu ray of Death Wish that has nothing but a trailer on it. Same bs MGM pulled with their "special edition" of Straw Dogs.

This 30th anniversary edition better suck because I just bought the 25th not even a month ago.

And how much better could the PQ get? I think the current Blu looks pretty damn good.

Picked up the Gremlins/Gremlins 2/The Goonies Triple Feature Blu set for $6.99 around Christmas.

This will more than suffice.

Curious, is this a three films on one disc release? Or three discs with all the special features?

Fuck, I didn't know that the specs for that had been released. I was afraid they were gonna do something like that. Considering how notorious the film is, it's even more of a slap in the face than Universal's High Plains Drifter "40th Anniversary Edition".

And their BEETLEJUICE 20th Anniversary bluray was such a let-down too.
