I though the same thing.

As a true Friday The 13th fan I am now obliged to get the limited edition whatever it costs me.

I haven't heard yet...

They did just add this on their website though:

Quote:
On August 24th at 2 p.m., Crystal Lake Memories (DVD/BR Combo) with guests to be announced. This is a numbered event. Due to the overwhelming demand for signed DVD/BR, all orders received after midnight, June 29th will be put on a waiting list for signed copies (this only applies to mail orders and does not affect in-store customers). We apologize for this.

It must be selling quite well then! I'm glad I got my order in the other day!

Two people over at Blu-ray.com contacted Dark Delicacies, and they emailed both back saying that 25-30 people will be signing the Blu-ray/DVD:

http://forum.blu-ray.com/showpost.ph...&postcount=174

That sounds like an awful lot of people signing... but there you have it. I'm sure glad I already ordered one though!

When can we start pre-ordering? Is it going to be on Amazon.com?

Will Dark Delicacies ship internationally?

I know itīs confirmed but I donīt see any confirmation on the Dark Delicacies site that they will carry the extra disc.

I never really drop money for stuff like this, but I just ordered one, hopefully this "waiting list" isn't too long.

I would assume so, since they mention foreign orders here: http://www.darkdel.com/condit.htm

I only JUST ordered via Dark Del. site...I should check these threads more often. I hope I get a signed one. Otherwise - it's eBay since I'm sure MANY signed copies will end up there.

Just pre-ordered mine.

Slightly bummed I missed the signed version from Dark Delicacies, but supposedly shipping was $13 there. The Crystal Lake Memories site had free shipping and a bonus DVD with four hours of extended interviews. So I guess it balances out.

Other then a bunch of people being interviewed. I don't see nor do I get what is so great about this? There is no way there will be any deleted scenes on it. No extended gore scenes nothing as paramount own the rights to this franchise. A bunch of photos and interviews don't do nothing for me. We already got a bunch of retarded interviews before so why should I care now? I already have the book at it's awesome I love it. So please anybody feel free to tell me why I should buy this?

I don't know why, but I just can't bring myself to go for this. I'm interested in seeing it, but I'm not sure I'd revisit it more than once. Same for the bonus disk features. I haven't read the book yet, but in some ways I'm more tempted to spring for the book now.

For anyone who's read the book, am I crazy for being more interested in that than this?

edit: Dobby your post wasn't there when I started typing mine, but I'm glad I'm not the only one who's thinking it.
