This is the summary of the review:

"I know that Day of the Dead maintains a pretty intense fan base, but I can’t count myself as a member of that club. I thought the flick seemed dull and poorly made in general. The Blu-ray provides decent visuals, lackluster audio and a strong collection of bonus features. The problems with audio make this a flawed release, but it still represents the best version of Day on home video to date."

It must be difficult to review movies that you don't like. I would have a hard time being impartial as well. He does complain about the absence of the 6.1 audio from the AB DVD, however he is unaware that the 6.1 mix featured the unnecessary audio changes. It was said that Scream Factory has the original audio track, I thought it was going to receive an upgrade (5.1 maybe) as well as the audio. I'll take the original theatrical audio over an enhanced 6.1 mix that's been altered any day. There are a couple of other reviews out there that give the video 5 stars for quality. Plus, the new documentary comes in at about 90 minutes which is awesome. I'm looking forward to this.

ronnie21 why would you assume a Blu-Ray would only look a tad better.

This is proper 1080p transfer encoded at 24fps with a decent AVC encode not a 480p DVD!

7 years into the format and folks still don't get it
