Actors who got started and "retired" from Acting in the 1980s

Looking for a list of actors who started and quit acting in the 1980s. By "quit" and "retired" I don't mean necessarily died. Anyone up for the challenge?

I was looking up cast and credits on Breeders (1986) the other day and noticed that pretty much all the actors involved in the movie got started and "retired" in the 1980s.
They where mostly Empire Pictures regulars starring in the same movies. Most memorable of the bunch got to be Frances Raines playing the nude, coke-sniffing model in Breeders. She did The Mutilator before that, and IMDb lists Riot on 42nd St. (1987) as her final movie.

I'm sure there are tons, but I can't think of many off the top of my head without looking up their resumes. Maybe Jill Whitlow?

Sherri Willis Burch was in Killer Party and Final Exam, both in the '80s, but I don't think she did anything else.

Also Joseph Alan Johnson from Iced, Berserker, and Slumber Party Massacre.

Tina Caspary who was in Can't Buy Me Love with Amanda Peterson (RIP), started acting in 1982 (Annie). She was also in Mac and Me (1988), Teen Witch (1989) and My Mom's a Werewolf (1989) which is listed as her last movie. According to IMDb: (1997-) Tours with the dance company "West Coast Dance Explosion" that teached classes and awards scholarships.

Can't think of anyone off the top of my head but I do wonder sometimes why people bother becoming actors only to disappear and then disown the films they make. I think many actors don't actually set out to act - they sort of just fall into it or are lured into the profession by actor friends. They make a film or two, decide it's not for them then hightail it out to start families or whatever. It's an interesting idea for a thread and I can't wait to see a good list of "dropouts" but maybe the OP should extend the timeframe at least up to the mid-or late 90's. There will likely be a more eclectic list of names.

Hellbilly said started and quit in the eighties. Rick worked all the way up to 1996. Even doing voice work until 2006.

I was gonna say Ilan Mitchell-Smith from Weird Science. Worked very little in 1990. Close but by the rules it doesn't work I guess.

Richard Brooker from Friday the 13th 3 (1982-1987)

Some of those Americans who stumbled onto being leads in Italian cult films, like Michael Sopkiw, Robert Ianucci, etc

Mark Patton from NOES 2: Freddy's Revenge pretty much fits. First credit in 1982, last in 1986 - except for a 2015 project listed in pre-production. I'd still say he counts. He left acting only a few years after starting and was MIA for many years until a blogger or documentary crew tracked him down to discuss his part in the NOES series.

Jeff Cohen, best known as Chunk in The Goonies has only one post 1989 credit according to IMDb. That's probably the type that will most fit the definition; child actors who have a handful of roles, go to college, and find some other career.

Heather O'Rourke (Poltergeist) started acting in 1981, but died prematurely in 1988... if that counts.

Ooooh, found one!

Lance Fenton (Heathers, Night Of The Demons)
1986 - 1989

Another from NOTD if it counts:
Jill Terashita (Night Of The Demons, Sleepaway Camp III)
1985 - 1990 (although it looks like she's done some stunt work since then)

Lauren Marie Taylor (Friday The 13th Part 2, Girls Nite Out)
1980 - 1987 (with a supposed TV appearance in 1995)

A couple that are close, but not quite:

Juliette Cummins (Friday The 13th: A New Beginning, Psycho III, Deadly Dreams, Slumber Party Massacre II)
First credit was Running Hot in 1984, last was Camp Fear in 1991

Dana Kimmell (Friday The 13th Part III, Sweet 16)
1977 - 1990

Jennifer Cooke (Jason Lives: Friday The 13th Part VI, V, Gimme An F)
1978 - 1986

Kirsten Baker (Friday The 13th Part 2, Island Fury, Teen Lust)
1978 - 1987

Jason Lively (Night Of The Creeps, European Vacation)
First credit was 1982, last credit was 1993

Rainbow Harvest (Mirror Mirror, Old Enough)
First credit was 1984 with Old Enough, last credit was 1991

Amanda Peterson (Can't Buy Me Love, Explorers, Fatal Charm)
1982 - 1994

Amy O'Neill (Honey I Shrunk The Kids)
1984 - 1994 (although she did a small role in a short film in 2008)

Lisa Fuller (Teen Witch, Night Life, the "virgin" sister from The Monster Squad)
1986 - 1992 (she married Dan Gauthier from Teen Witch)

Nina Axelrod (Motel Hell, Time Walker, Paul Lynch's Cross Country)
First credit was 1978, last credit was Critters 3 in 1991, but Critters 3 and Cobra are her only acting credits after 1983. Looks like she went behind-the-scenes and became a casting director in 1987. She cast Fright Night Part 2, Maid To Order, Jeff Lieberman's Remote Control to name a few.

Not primarily '80s, but there are quite a few who worked only about a decade.

Charlie Korsmo (child actor from Hook, What About Bob, Dick Tracy)
First credit was 1990, last credit was Can't Hardly Wait in 1998

Traci Lind (My Boyfriend's Back, Fright Night Part 2, Survival Quest, Class Of 1999)
1984 - 1997

Christopher S. Nelson (Without Warning, Roller Boogie)
1973 - 1982

Lee Montgomery (child actor from Ben, Burnt Offerings, Dead Of Night, a few teen roles in the '80s with The Midnight Hour and Girls Just Want To Have Fun)
1971 - 1988

Zoe Trilling (aka Geri Betzler) (Night Of The Demons 2, Dr. Giggles, Amityville: The Evil Escapes)
1985 - 1997

Glenn Quinn (Roseanne, Dr. Giggles, Campfire Tales)
1990 - 2002 (his death)

Cristi Harris (Night Of The Demons 2, Night Of The Scarecrow)
1992 - 2005

Amelia Kinkade (Night Of The Demons 1 - 3)
1983 - 1997 (Night Of The Demons III)

Scott Jacoby (Bad Ronald, The Little Girl Who Lives Down That Lane, Our Winning Season, Return To Horror High, The Supernaturals)
Child actor, first role in 1969, final role in 1991. More than a decade, but his big era was the late '70s, early '80s
