That Texas Chainsaw 2 BD will be mine! Even if it's the same transfer as the MGM release it will still be a better release overall because of the additional extras, packaging and 100 page(!) book. Arrow is killing it this year

Need to watch The Fury before I decide whether or not I want to pick it up, though the extras sound great. I did pre-order TCM 2 for 40% off the list price. The new October pre-orders will all be on sale through August 12th. That one looks to be Arrow's biggest release yet.

The colours look much improved but there doesn't seem to be any extra detail. I would have liked to see a comparison between the Twilight Bluray.

Oh you have to see The Fury in motion. It looks pretty amazing. There's some beautiful grain present throughout the film. It's really nice. Totally worth picking up.

For those in the US / Canada, where do you buy your Arrow releases? Best price, lowest shipping, etc.

Only ones I have are Vamp, Bay Of Blood, Slaughter High, and Island Of Death. Would definitely have more if they weren't so expensive to import.

I buy them off of amazon.co.uk. I've always found the prices to be really good, actually. like 12-15 GBP per title. and the shipping is super quick. I have about a dozen.

My copy of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 3-disc set arrived in the mail yesterday from Arrow, a couple days before street date to boot. Fantastic set! Only watched the first disc last night, but can't wait to dig into Hooper's early works this weekend.

Blu-Ray.com on Arrows TCM2

http://www.blu-ray.com/movies/The-Te.../79704/#Review

Video-wise it sounds pretty even with the MGM disc -- the real question is whether or not I want to spend money to get the extra disc of Hooper's hippie films...

I ordered TCM2 and Body Snatchers even if the transfers are basically the same as the stateside versions. The packaging is great (especially the steelie for IOTBS) but the main draw are definitely the extras. Great stuff.

What are the 3 new featurettes on TCM 2? I can only find 2:
-Still Feelin' The Buzz
-Cutting Moments with Bob Elmore

The second one is not even mentioned on the Arrow homepage or amazon. That is strange.
