EDIT: The title was Ghostkeeper.

Surprised I haven't chimed in on this thread yet. I'm sure I've mentioned it in other threads, but Ken Russell's The Devils (1971) is at the top of my list.

And not just a bare-bones release like the recent UK DVD, either. I want to see the found footage (rape of christ, charred tibia scene, etc) remastered (as well as it can be, anyways) and spliced back into the film.

Loosen your sphincter, Warner Bros. It's not 1971 anymore.

Why do we not have decent editions of any pre-Frighteners Peter Jackson films? Bad Taste, Meet the Feebles, Braindead, Heavenly Creatures. We don't even have decent DVD versions of any of them. That's kind of ridiculous. I would think these would be prime candidates for a Shout/Scream Factory release.

The rights to these films went back to Jackson last year, who has plans for them, but unfortunately he's not touching them until he finishes The Hobbit films. So hopefully if all goes well we will see this Fall 2015.

I think the AB dvd of Bad Taste is a pretty decent release but I would agree with you on the rest of them especially Braindead uncut on Blu please.

well, that's good news in the long run, i suppose. a shame that we have to wait so long, though. it'll probably be longer than that, since Fall 2015 will be when the extended edition of The Hobbit: There and Back Again will be released. So probably more like mid- to late-2016. when we do eventually get them, i guess we can expect them to be treated well, though, so that's something. If the Frighteners, LOTR, Kong, and The Hobbit are any example, Jackson seems to have a real fondness for solid dvd/bd releases.

yeah, i thought about that (never owned a copy, myself), but didn't the expensive LE only add an extra half-hour featurette? not exactly stacked. it definitely deserves better.

Off th top of my head...

Leatherface: Texas Chainsaw Massacre III (with original ending!)
The Return of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre (both cuts and Huberman's making of)
Exorcist: Legion (one can wish - but if they're doing it for Nightbreed...)
Summer School 1987
Ghoulies/Ghoulies II (R rated versions)

I'll update as I think of any more....

From all accounts the excised footage from Exorcist III does not exist anymore.
