So, we'll probably never get that cut anyway.

yeah it is probably unlikely as the title is not well known enough which is a shame as I have wanted to see it for years uncut. Hopefully they will at least include the scenes as deleted scenes (no matter what condition they are in) as there is quite a lot of them.

No idea where that rumor came from but according to the German movie database no German version runs longer than around 85 minutes. So I am not sure if that rumor is true.

the website i linked even has one of the deleted scenes dubbed into german, so they had to be put back in for a release over there.

Farrah Fawcett in latex look in the film "Saturn City" ("Saturn 3").
This scene is not included in any German DVD release!
Not even on the DVD from S.A.D. Home Entertainment.
(Despite the notation: "Uncut version"!)
But in the German theatrical version and the German
VHS video releases from CBS-Fox and VCL.

I've always loved this film, but to be honest I haven't seen it in years (last time was on cable about 10 years ago), so I look forward to just watching it again. I would love anything extra wise they give us!! I kicked myself for never picking up the cheap DVD, but now I'm very excited about having a great version of the film! In the past week I've watched 4 blus from Shout Factory and all of them were incredible!

At first I only compared the runtimes. After reading the whole entry it becomes clear that the "drug scene" is indeed included in the German VHS versions. On the other hand they lack some gore scenes, that's why the runtime isnt longer.
