Quarantine 2: Terminal (official trailer)

Finally got around seeing the first Quarantine film and I have to say it was not half bad, sure it doesn't have shit on the original, but it was quite good. Now, after much speculation, the sequel is heading our way later this year. Thankfully they went in a different direction with this sequel instead of just carbon copying Rec 2, much like how they carbon copied Rec with Quarantine.

Peep the trailer Here

I caught this during its recent limited theatrical run. I enjoyed it quite a bit. It's not a first-person movie like the others, but it's filmed in a very direct documentary style, sans music, that maintains that same intensity. There are a few good sympathetic characters among the usual "airplane assholes." While most of it takes place in the airport terminal, the early scenes on the plane feel authentic and claustrophobic (not like Snakes on a Plane or something where it seems like they're flying in the Mall of America). It's not as intensely scary as [REC] 2, but few movies are. My GF and and I both liked it, as we did the previous [REC]s and Quarantine, so consider it recommended.

Yeah, it was pretty damn good

I wasnīt really expecting much, since it was yet another Stage 6/direct to video movie, and I didnīt like the remake, since it was mostly a shot by shot copy of the original, Psycho remake style. But it was actually very well done, with some good scares and suspence, especially at the end. And Iīm glad it went itīs own path instead of remaking REC 2.
The actors wasnīt bad either.

So bring on a third one, I say

I found it pretty enjoyable. At least the main actress from the first one was not in it

I didn't care for the first one at all but on a whim I checked this out on Netflix today and... Wow, I actually enjoyed it quite a bit. Much to my surprise this was a lot of fun. Shocking.
