That would have been HORRIBLE. That is like a censor enforced "Crime Does Not Pay" ending straight out of 1950s TV. I am okay with how the show ended (or did it?) but that one would have pissed me off as a cop out. If that was his idea then I am glad he left.

While there is a level of "haven't I seen this before?" in that, it sounds a lot more fun than what we did get.
I think the epilogue of what exists is a huge cop-out, way more than this would've been.

My thoughts exactly. Although it's a very obvious closer, it would still have been better than what we initially got. With that said...
