Thumbs up The Lost Boys.....

.... was on VH1 last night so I decided to whip out my copy of it and watch it. Haven't seen it in quite awhile. What a treat. This movie rocks! I just love the chemistry between all the actors and the comedic aspect of it was so cool. I loved Corey Feldman and Jamison Newlander as the hilarious "Frog Brothers"... Kiefer Sutherland makes an excellent vampire. Also I was totally "in lust" with Jason Patric back in the late 80's

There were so many classic lines from that movie. One of my favorites was at the beginning when Grandpa {Bernard Hughes} was instructing Sam {Corey Haim} what to do when the TV Guide arrives in the mail.

Sam: "Wait, wait. You have a TV?"
Grampa: "No, I just like to read the TV Guide. Read the TV Guide, you don't need a TV."

...I just think that is so freaking funny!

...the soundtrack to "The Lost Boys" is pretty awesome as well.

I am a big fan of this film as well. I prefer it much more over the highly over-rated (IMO) Near Dark.

lol, most people seem to say the opposite.. near dark is a relatively unknown film in comparison so one would say that lost boys is the over-rated one of the two

True but all I heard was how Near Dark is the better film and that it was unjustly discarded because it came out around the same time as Lost boys. When i finally saw it I was thoroughly disappointed. It is and alright movie though.

Both film were okay but I prefer Near Dark. I've walked by that Lost Boys DVD a hundred times and still can't buy it. The main reason I got the Near Dark DVD was for all the extras. Besides, that little fucker Corey Feldman just gets under my skin.

I don't like THE LOST BOYS. Its just not my cup of tea, and the comedy aspects fall flat. Very overrated in my book.

Hardly. I love NEAR DARK because its a damn good movie, and one of my personal favorites. Why would you get the idea that liking a less popular movie would make someone look cool anyway? Makes no sense to me.

Yeah I'm not too big of a LOST BOYS fan either, but I like it a tad more than FRIGHT NIGHT. NEAR DARK still eclipses (ha-ha?) both of them though.
