Not the best zombie movie by any means, but my favorite scene in a zombie movie is in Nightmare City when the zombies get off the plane and start using their weapons on everyone. Never saw that done before.

One of my most memorable scenes is Olga Karlatos eye gouge from Fulci's Zombie.

My favorite scene in a zombie picture doesn't involve blood and guts but rather very fine acting by Duane Jones. It's in the original Night when Ben is regaling catatonic Barbara with his account of a diner overrun by ghouls. Jones is so good in this scene I can always imagine his story about as well as I remember actual scenes from the movie.

"Operation Sweet Death is considered a complete failure" That scene when the fumes leave the center is chilling because the end of the world has just started.

The ending of the original NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD: I was so shocked and depressed. And the collection of still photographs gave me the chills. They still do.

My favorite scene would be the ending of The Beyond right before and including the screen fading into Schweik's painting. Especially the end quote.

Day of the Dead – when Bub is behind the glass in a separate room and they give him things like a razor, toothbrush, phone and gun. It's quite funny and also showed a vestige of humanity remained.

The opening credits through rabid weasels scene in ROTLD. Everything was great for me! You can see Burt's wheels turning as he tries to figure out how to cover the "egg cracking" up and save his business. Oh yeah and split dogs of course!

ROTLD is my favorite zombie movie - so to pick one of my many favorite scenes- well probably the whole opening dialogue between Frank and Freddie leading up to and right after they release the chemical gas. So yes I agree with SoxFan666!

How 'bout the scene in Nightmare City when the zombies burst into the operating room and the surgeon calmly surveys them for a second, before throwing his scalpel ninja-star style into the forehead of the nearest zombie? That surgeon is prepared for anything!
