I'm not a fan of paying Twilight Times high prices but unfortunately I think this is slowly becoming the norm. With Code Red now doing the same thing, Warner Archive jumping into on demand Blu, and Scorpion talking about possibly doing the same for certain titles I think this is just something we are going to have to accept if we want media in hand.

I took advantage of the free Mindwarp which I wanted anyway so even though I had to spend more then I planned at the time it worked out to about $20 a Blu-ray which isn't too bad.

Did you get confirmation of the free Mindwarp? Just curious as I was pretty damn early in pre-ordering but never received a confirmation. Guess I could e-mail Ed to confirm.

Yup, this is the future of home video it seems. But you know what, I'll take this over streaming becoming the norm any day. I was never a fan of watching movies on computers or of the hit-or-miss quality of digital downloads/streaming. People keep saying streaming will become commonplace, which may very well be, but as long as there is still a physical media option I will support it 100% - even if it means paying more. I can't buy every Twilight Time release but that's OK because I'm not a completist. Aside from an occasional blind purchase, I only buy what I truly enjoy and plan on watching more than once. If the only way Scorpion survives is by adopting a limited release strategy, I will support them as well.

Yeah, you had to add if to your basket. It showed up as $0.

I agree. I'm not a fan of streaming, or Netflix even for that matter. I'm all about owning something physical in hand. The day it becomes strictly streaming is the day I stop paying for media and start downloading everything free.

Thanks, I read too late that you had to e-mail them to get details. No one online was spilling the beans on that.

My order hasn't even shipped yet so I think I'll cancel everything I threw in to try to get to $100 and just order the Harryhausens straight up. That's what they get for being unclear from the start, they miss out on $50 bucks.

It hasn't. If it ever existed in the first place. Disc looks fantastic, btw.

The extras aren't all that worth it...I'm glad I dvr'd these, as well as Jason and The Argonauts, off of TCM a few months back and burned them to dvd!! All I really cared about was the newer prints and they are stunning.
