High Plains Drifter 40th Anniversary Edition blu ray

Got this classic super natural western today to replace my dvd. I am glad they are selling this cheap as although it looks really great it is pretty much bare bones.
Will post a full review when I am done later today.

I'd rather have it barebones and with a good transfer. Thankfully, Universal didn't pull any of their poor transfer crap on the release...and it was worth the price I paid.

The recent Weird Science Blu-ray, now that's another story!

Oh for sure but why dress it up as a 40th Anniversary edition which kind of implies it should have some bells and whistles.

True, but a lot of other studios do the same thing now. "Anniversary Edition" hardly guarantees a packed edition these days, sadly.
