Maximum Overdrive

So we have been working our asses off on this project and there really is nothing for extras, but we did find some, and the Italian BD is pretty bad, soft, big time muted color, and the sunset scene flickers terribly, this version has none of that, but here are our 2 custom covers, please share your thoughts and ideas, we are also going to work up art cards and a mini poster.

I really like both covers, but I think I will give the edge to #2. I really wish I could buy this.

I prefer the first cover as it more closely resembles the artwork that I remember from that time. Nice job!

Yeah. The first cover is your safe bet. It is basically the classic movie poster image so no one can bitch about it. The back looks cool as well.

I like the first cover but think it would be better with the two blue tabs removed.

I know I've seen interview footage of Stephen King talking about MAXIMUM OVERDRIVE (addressing the MPAA censorship and his failings as a director) on one of those "video magazines," but I can't remember which one.

This would be great to add if you can figure it out and I can find it, we still have a little bit of time to add more.

Thanks

Love that cover 2.

As for features, is there any AC/DC videos that you could put on there?

So some of you like that version 2? damn we may have to bring it back lol, we were going to ditch it for these 2 choices, plus there will be inside art, I actually think the inside art will be what version 2 is above, but what do you guys think of these 2 as possible finals? also anyone have any good ideas for the disc art?

Thanks

also we could not find any good quality AC\DC video's, but we will feature the music, look at teh extras on the cover.

Disk art? Maybe a truck wheel or baseball. Asteroid?

Stephen King as the puppet master is also a really cool cover.

How about reconstructing the trailer using the HD source?

As someone who's never seen the film I like version 1 but #2 is really inventive, cool art! Try to keep this in mind; not everybody who will buy it has seen it, which makes #3 rather bizarre (only upon taking a closer look did I realise it was SK).
