I'm sure there are a few more that I can't think of right now.

edit: I don't like the Saw franchise much at all.
Saw goes hand in hand with my disdain for Paranormal Activity. "From the producers of Paranormal Activity and Saw" or PA and Insidious, or a combination of one or the other or something else altogether is extremely common to see during previews.

Phantasm
Hellraiser
Last House on the Left (actually thought the remake was fair though)
Alien
Dawn of the Dead and Day of the Dead (NOTLD was decent)
Cabin in the Woods
The Mummy (one of the few universal classics that I find terrible, I love the others)

I would probably say The Exorcist, but I don't hate it. As a kid, I thought it was incredibly boring. I appreciate it more now as an adult, but I don't see how anyone could find it even remotely scary. Maybe you have to be religious to get it?

I've never seen a Lucio Fulci film that I've loved. They have gore, some of them have atmosphere, but that's really all they have going for them. The stories about how Fulci treated people on his sets made me like them even less.

I've also never seen an Argento directed film that I loved, although I did enjoy his Masters Of Horror entries, especially Pelts. I do love the Demons films though, which he co-wrote and produced.

Also don't care for Hammer films.

Agreed on the Clive Barker work, although I liked the original Hellraiser and whatever that train station movie he did a few years ago.

I find most NOES sequels to be pretty poor, and I don't care to revisit anything in the Halloween canon after part 3.

Jaws.

It's a classic and all but it doesn't do anything for me. I don't hate it or anything but I find it a bit dull and unappealing. I bought it on DVD 8 years ago and I have never spun the disc once.

Good god, should we rename this thread "mostly awesome movies that I inexplicably don't like"? The Exorcist? Night of the Living Dead? These are "book shelf" movies for most (meaning I will ALWAYS have them on the shelf, always, because I need to be able to watch them at a moment's notice).

What is happening?

I LOVE Book Of Shadows: Blair Witch 2. I don't dislike the first film, but I'm kind of indifferent to it. More than the movie itself, I really like all the mythology the filmmakers came up with. Some of those stories are really creepy. They did a series of three computer games based on the mythology, and I thought they were really fun (and I'm not into gaming at all). I also enjoyed the short lived book series.

I really don't like Wes Craven in general.
ANOES/3/New were all pretty bad.
Hills Have Eyes unwatchable (I would never consider watching the sequel)

Last House on the Left showed some potential I felt, but since then it's been way down hill in my eyes. Although I watched Scream a few times I didn't dislike that nearly as much as I do his other work.

I'm not a big fan of: Texas Chainsaw Massacre
Disliked Blair Witch Project (I could enjoy BW2; still wouldn't buy it)

I never really "got" the love for Deep Red. It's not bad or anything, but in some circles it's called Argento's best and I really don't get that. Tenebre is 10x better (and that's not getting into Suspiria).
