Post express.com

Hi, has anyone been using and/or having problems with express.com recently. I've used them for ages - about 20 large DVD orders in total but one I placed at the end of last year never turned up. They said they have re-sent it to me but still no sign. I'm in the UK and unfortunately ordered standard airmail so I cannot track it.....I'm just a little suspicious because things they said were out of stock suddenly reappeared in stock when I asked for a refund......

Jesus, you should watch the dvd newsgroups more. Express have declared chapter 11 bankruptcy. Their problems are pretty widespread. I would have a look at the dvd newsgroups for more info.

Yeah, they pretty much suck the big one now.

I cancelled all my orders with them when they filed chapter 11. As far as I know they're not shipping pre-orders or filling backorders; just shipping what's listed as in stock.

Oh god so they're all a bunch of lying b***ards as well are they? I'll reorder all my stuff from Amazon then. Knowing my luck though they have reshipped them and I'll end up with 2 copies of everything....DOH!!

Thanks for the input.

Stay away from Express.com They used to be the best, now they are the worst! What a turnaround.

I have switched to DVDempire thanks to some suggestions on this site.

It's a shame what's happened. Express used to be an excellent supplier of difficult-to-obtain discs (Synapse DVDs, Untold Story, etc.) - I'll miss those guys.
