Anyone know of any online stores with The Dead Next Door available to order?
I just saw a preview of it on DVDReview.com and thought I'd preorder a copy. Thanks in advance. |

You can get one from here http://www.tempevideo.com/ but I heard it's a REALLY shitty copy, and that there is a better one coming out.

The Dead Next Door is a mid-80s independant film that has been available for sometime now. You can always get it from http://www.deadnextdoor.com.
Are you, on the other hand, referring to some re-released DVD version of the film? |

Looks like it's getting re-released, though the review on DVD Review didn't mention by whom or when. I would like to check it out, it sounds damn cool...

Wizard 3000 will release a SE of The Dead Next Door in the future.

I got mine from tempevideo.com. They also have the R2 SE, but it's pretty pricy at $60.
As for the picture quality, yes, it's bad. But you're not going to see anything better. It was filmed on Super 8 guys, grain city. You might want to wait for a R1 SE, but I don't see how you can get a better transfer. |

Mondo Digital recently reviewed the Splatter Rampage DVD. This is a new company and this is their first ever release. While the quality of the image and sound improves over the VHS they were still unimpressed with the quality of the DVD and they think it may have been made off a VHS master.
I would give this one a miss... |
