Question Halloween?

I was just wondering if there is any planned boxset, featuring all of the movies, except maybe Halloween, which IMHO blew monkey biscuits. But then, should it even be classed as a Halloween movie?!? ok its set at halloween but no Michael Myers! Im kinda hooked on the movies ( which i know millions of people are) so i just wanted to know if one will be availible. By the way im kinda new here, i THINK this is my first post, even though ive had an account for over a year lol. So hello!

I don't think they'll be doing that anytime soon. Toob ad though, i'd really like a box set like the Nightmare on elm... one, only more stuff.

Does Anchor bay hold the rights to the holloween dvds?

How about just a Jamie Lee Curtis trilogy 1 2 and H20 the only ones that matter anyway

The Halloween rights are all over the place. Box set will probably never happen.

With the original already out in a good version, all I need is a special edition of part 3, which I love VERY much.

Fuck a Halloween box set. I already bought ALL of the goddamn movies, a box set would be a lame idea. Besides, like it was said, the rights are everywhere, so it would never happen.

Part 2 also deserves the treatment. Rosenthal is free as a bird now, and the added TV material is readily available. Universal only has so many modern horror films, they should at least put some attention into the ones they have left.

That Curtis/Miner commentary that was listed and not included on the H20 disc would be great. Perhaps Disney will rerelease the non-anamorphic H20 when they release the DVD of H8?

The Halloween SE would be one of the best discs out there if they would have gotten the rights to that Criterion commentary on the LD. Still though, it is a stellar disc.

I liked HALLOWEEN 3 very much....apparently more than most other people. I always felt that it would have been nice if HALLOWEEN 3 had gotten a better reception at the box office..... then maybe they would have continued with the idea of a different story for each new HALLOWEEN.

BTW, Does anyone own the Goodtimes dvd version of HALLOWEEN 3? I read one review that said that the picture and sound quality on this release was pretty good, especially for the price. Considering that the label was Goodtimes, I was hoping for some more opinions before I dropped the ten spot.
