Exclamation Dawn/Day of the Dead SE's on the way!

Another addition to Fangoria's video chopping list on their website was the inclusion of Dawn of the Dead 3-disc special edition and the Day of the Dead SE. Dawn of the Dead is (apparently) going to be released on April 29, 2003 as a fat 3-disc SE with all 3 cuts of the movie plus lots of other goodies. Day of the Dead has been given a date of August 19, 2003. I cant wait for these two, but I guess I'll have to considering that they're not going to be released for another year.

Thanks for the good news KillerCannabis. Now if those were releases would have said 2002 and NOT 2003 then that would have been even better. Oh well, waiting is the hardest part.

I hope this information is accurate.

Here's the link, btw: http://www.fangoria.com/tpage/choppi.../chop_list.htm

Also, they have listed a "Frighteners" SE from Universal, but with not date.

And in August of '03, there's a "Halloween" 25th Anniversay SE. Sounds like AB is up to it's old tricks again. Maybe it'll have stuff from the Criterion?

Listed as coming out in 2002, but without any other firm dates are: "Zombi 3" from ShriekShow, "Bram Stoker's Dracula" SE from Columbia, EFNY SE from MGM, Poltergeist SE from WB, and Robocop SE from MGM.

On July 22, 2003 comes the Wicker Man Extended Cut DVD SE from AB. Hope this includes the commentary on the R2 disc. I'm hopeful since it says SE, as the one that came in the wooden box was bare-bones.

Sadly, no mention is made of the Howling SE, Nightbreed DC, or They Live!
