No Cat in the Brain

It looks like once again, Image's DVD of Lucio Fulci's Cat in the Brain is not gonna happen. Just got on Image's website, and the movie isn't there anymore.

Wow, well I guess I'm not too surprised. Been on and off for like a year though. Many have said it's not that great (or even good) though, so I guess it's not a huge loss.

Hrmm.. that's odd. I was just talking about this with Image the other day, and from what I was told both Image and Grindhouse were going to be releasing their own versions. Looks like things have changed, haha! Back to the drawing board, fellas!

This is becoming the "Legend" of horror movies, but the Legend DVD was released finally.

so what's the story with this film then? Why all the probelms? THere is a version available in Europe. Maybe I'll just get that one and be done with it.

I agree that Grindhouse would probably do a far better job on the disc than Image would, I just don't believe that I'll ever see it. If the Image DVD comes out, at least I'll be able to get it sometime this decade.

I Completely agree with you, Grindhouse's disc would be better but it would take way to long to be released. That reminds me

When is Cannibal Holocaust Coming out dammit!!!

I agree, a Grindhouse release would be more desirable given their fine treatment of both The Beyond and Cannibal Ferox.

The trouble is, Grindhouse take so long! How many DVDs have they actually managed to release? Erm.....two..?

I guess we'll have to wait forever for this one then, along with Cannibal Holocaust (2 and a half years and counting) and I Drink Your Blood.

Patience is a virtue! I personnally can wait on this disc because of reasons already stated by SkinnyPuppy.
