Anchor Bay releases!

I just saw this over at DVDFile. Can you believe that AB is going to release Halloween again? I am a huge fan, but come on.....

From DVDFile:
Quote:
Just like the living dead, you just can't keep Anchor Bay down. Perhaps the leading independent distributors of cult films on DVD, they've just updated their official website with a newly revised list of titles coming soon or in development. Highlights include such cult favorites as Dead-end Drive-In, Road Games, Night Patrol, Tobe Hooper's Spontaneous Combustion, Fear No Evil, Man Who Fell to Earth, and new multi-disc collections highlighting the work of such talents as Richard Lester, Peter Sellars and Wim Wenders. And - yep! - 2003 should see the release of yet more new editions of such classics as George Romero's Dawn of the Dead and Day of the Dead, and a 25th Anniversary Edition of John Carpenter's Halloween, which has already been released and re-released umpteen times. I guess there's always more blood to be squeezed from any venerable horror franchise, and check out the website for more info.

I'll pass on the Halloween. My 2-disc LE is more than good enough for me. But I'm all over the Dawn and Day SE's. Those two are looooong overdue IMHO.

It seems that a commentary is the only difference. It is probably a port from the Criterion disc (which I own), so there should be no need to upgrade.

Woohoo!

It is one of my favorite vampire movies, and one of the very best for that matter.

So will any of you buy the Dawn and Day releases and / or then buy the box set of all 3 Dead films scheduled for next year?

If Halloween has a new commentary and DTS, I'll probably get it. I already have the laserdisc, so if they use that forget it, my LE 2disc wil be just fine.
I'm all over those "Dead" movies though!
