Post Bad news. Amazon+The Burning.

They say it hasn't been released
Though aren't keen on speculate on a ratings problem & suggest contacting MGM.

Doing a quick check @ Amazon, the tape is still available for ordering. Since MGM is releasing so much stuff these days, I doubt anyone checked to see what print they were using for the master. Since the movie is relatively obscure outside of the horror fanbase, they probably don't even have a clue what is anyway. Still, it worked out great for folks who like their horror uncut. I just hope they use the same print for their eventual DVD release.

Wow! Just got my VHS (can't believe I bought a VHS tape) of THE BURNING from Amazon.com and I am stunned. Relatively good picture quality and yes indeed, it is uncut!

I would say now is the time for people who like this title to start badgering MGM to release this on DVD (for Halloween would be nice)!!!

An uncut DVD of this film would do some PR wonders for their notorious video arm with horror-fillm fans.
