Dusk Till Dawn -- borders of bestbuy?

Hey all,

I just recieved, as a gift, an unoped DVD of From Dusk Till Dawn (the original release). It's either form best buy or borders... Now, I beleive borders and bestbuy still sell this -- correct? ALso, since i dont have a reciept and it's unopened will either place exchange or give me a refund?

Thanks,

Matt

You could probably get store credit, i.e. exchage. Around here it's easy at Best Buy, but Borders asks lots of questions. Without a reciept, you have little to no chance of getting cash.

I wouldn't be surprised if Best Buy refused to take this back without a receipt. They were giving them away free last week with the purchase of "Jackie Brown" and the new "Pulp Fiction" DVD.

This is kinda off the point but my local Circuit City had the two dvd FDTD for 15.99. Anyone who doesn't already own this oughta check it out. It's one of my favs.

Yea, i thought about that too. But, since it's a regular DVD that they keep in stock and still sell, there is not much room for them to argue. They can't prove where it came from -- ya know? Should be fine... As far as they are concerned, they say "Oh, here is something we sell, he wants to exchange it"

Also, it's pretty much up to the teen behind the counter at the moment -- i'll choose my target wisely...haha

Thanks,

Matt

Take it to Borders. They'll return anything to keep customers happy. I used to work there, so I know.

Well, at least here in Tampa...

...Best Buy are bastards when it comes to bringing them a DVD (yes, unopened) without a receipt! I've tried it at 3 different BB locations with several "popular" titles & they simply would not accept them...not even for store credit. Other regions don't seem to have this problem. There's no trust in this town I tell ya!!!

On the other hand I've returned a BOOK to Borders w/o a receipt and they've given me store credit (though they gave me store credit for the lowest SALE price they ever had on that item). DVDs shouldn't be any different!

Just my experience in the "no-receipt-gimme-store-credit" process!
