WOW! Quite a bizarre little Japanese film! I watched this tonight and really had a blast with it. The film was very involving and suspenseful with some genunie creepy moments and a nice couple of jolts thrown in. Just a freaky-good film with some gruesome deaths and strange situations. I'm continually amazed with the terror supplied by our Asian friends!

Yeah, I had this disc on order, but it never came through (out of stock at the distributor). I saw it on TV in Australia. A very good film.

Looks like I've got yet anothe title to add to my growing list of Asian horror I need to see. I just scored Evil Dead Trap today and I'll be watching it tonight. Is this out on R1 yet?

Yep. "The Hypnotist" is available in R1 from ADV Films.
