Prima DV1500 DVD Player - PAL on NTSC TV????
Any one have any info on this cheap end player. It says it will play PAL dvds on a NTSC TV. can anyone verify this???

Actually, cheap PAL/NTSC players are quite common.
Not familiar with that particular brand though. Only problem I've encountered is that cheaper players don't do well on 16x9 PAL discs.

I can say that this dvd is probably junk. If you want a player to do it all feature and not pay big dollars, I say look at the Daewoo 5700 or the MINTEK. I personally love the Daewoo 5700 which I own and everything I put into the dvd rom played it. I mean I have the firm ware update and flashed to ROM. But great player in my book. I can't bitch about it.
