I have the Lone Wolf and Cub series on DVD, which I suggest over the Shogun Assasin movie which is a compilation of parts one and two with english dubbing. www.animeigo.com has the rights to the official rights to the release in the USA. I got mine off of ebay and I suspect that they are professional bootlegs of the region 2 releases.

There is a similar thread going under the title Lone Wolf and Cub where we have been discussing the series. I have heard that there is a region 1 set coming our way, but that is all I know. I too am looking for a date and some specs on this series.
