Meat Market
I just watched this DVD last night. I loved it. Very good movie. I recommend it to everyone. Good looking zombies. Decent looking naked chicks. Poor acting and a cool concept of how the zombies came about.
I rank it "7 out of 10" also watch the credits at the end I thought what they said was funny.

What a nice family film. Even better than Lassie Come Home.

I like this one too. It hit all the things I need to enjoy a horror movie. Granted, that isn't much but it worked for me.

Nah, just another pic of Vyvian from the Young Ones. Thought I'd try it out for size... I have much goofier pics of myself I could use if I ever got a scanner.

I bought mine from a brick&mortar store (14.99) at a cheaper rate then the title's home page offers (I believe it was $30 on the site). The first disc I took home was blank, confirmed at the store when I returned it. Then the new disc will not load in my player, which is a pain in the ass. I have noticed that many of the cheaper discs (that is cheaply made) will not load in my player. It did load in my PS2.
I enjoyed the film... and the crew certainly did a whole lot with very little. The gunplay was more believeable then in some Hollywood flicks I have seen... lead me to wonder if anyone had gotten hurt durring the making of this movie. The thing did get a little convoluted, and it pandered to the narrow... especially with the just-thrown-in-for kicks lesbian sex scene... the mentality that women are always 100% naked durring sex but men merely have to undo their flies (lets face it the reality is that guys are naked if sex is even a remote possibility)... and the addition of some pretty worthless characters. Considering that this film probably had a budget of about $1000, I was very impressed. One sequence that is particularly noteworthy is an extended dolly shot durring a cops vs zombie scene. Also the make-up rivals some of the bigger budgeted films out there. I could have done without El Diablo, the non-erotic lesbian sex scene and the out-of-left field addition of vampires... but all in all... its a fun film. |

here you go hellbilly via diabolikdvd
![]() From the depths of HELL they have returned to walk the EARTH! Two ex-security agents discover what may be the real cause of what the TV news reports as animal attacks. Argenta (Claire Westby) and Shahrokh (Paul Pedrosa) are former employees of a company they knew to be conducting bizarre medical experiments. What has resulted are not animal attacks, but attacks by humans - turned into vicious, decomposing, cannibalistic zombies. Their efforts to stem the violence in vain, hunted by the authorities, Shahrokh and Argenta escape the city just as it is engulfed by chaos. Their only hope lies in finding and organizing the few remaining survivors. What they find - three vampire women armed with high-tech weaponry, a deranged & washed-up Mexican wrestler, a wounded soldier, and a scientist who may know more than he lets on - offer more questions than answers. These few must band together to defeat the hordes of the undead before they are themselves consumed by the new order, the MEAT MARKET? Contains Cannibalism, graphic gore, male/female nudity, male/female sex, lesbian sex, frequent foul language, graphic depictions of decomposing corpses. "I was very impressed with Meat Market and fully enjoyed it. I can see your references from Dawn of the Dead and Day of the Dead as well the Italian bunch of horrors like Zombi 2. Good make up and genuinely effective - I even looked over my shoulder on more than one occasion and I'm saying this from a veteran horror journalist! Viva Meat Market!" -Jay Slater, of The Darkside Magazine NTSC / Region 1 Director's Commentary Photo Gallery Easter Eggs

Thanks Jeff!
When I put in "Meat Market" at imdb all I got was "Liebesmarkt (1973)" - A German sex film ...cannibalistic zombies... This one sounds interesting though, I might check it out.
