Exclamation Prepare for HALLOWEEN 9

"Daniel Farrands (screenwriter of Halloween 6) recently sat down with a Fangoria staff to announce his involvement with the next film in the Halloween franchise. Farrands reveals that a script he has written for the next sequel was approved by Dimension and Akkad later last week. The script simply titled "Halloween 9" takes place on the same night after the events of Resurrection. The plot is under tight security but Farrands noted that we will see the return of Sara and Freddie as well as Tommy Jarvis and the Thorn cult. Daniel also rumored that H4 director Dwight H. Little has some type of involvement in the project. Possibly directing. Stay tuned for more news."

Isn't Tommy Jarvis a Friday the 13th character?

I would have been happy about this until I had to suffer through the last piece of crap they put out. Now all I have is fear and dread. And the same night? Does this mean more Busta Rhymes? Noooooooooooooo!

Hm. Interesting. I was under the impression that H20 and Resurrection were direct sequels of the first film, and therefore were completely independent of the previous sequels.

Well, I wont say I didnt see this coming, but honestly....... WHY? I really feel Akkad should be shot in the face. Think about it, without him, no more Michael........ or worse......... suppose his son says that his dead father would have wanted to see Mikey live forever and 30 years from now we'll be on Halloween 26. Ugh. Either way we lose.

I think I remember him saying in that AMC special on HAlloween that he would stop at 10. Let's embrace this and the next film in hopes that they will indeed be the last.

He's destroyed the memory of a classic by turning out all the poor sequels, people see the Halloween franchise as a joke rather than remember the JC origanal, have'n said all that I'll still be there on opening night. Can anyone recommend a therapist.
